FREEDOM

Galatians 5:13
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

We are so often blind to the people -- both to their spiritual needs and to their readiness and openness to Jesus. We see their lifestyle and sometimes hard attitudes, and forget that God is able to work powerfully in them when the time is right.  Don't forget that you are in a harvest season. See the devil will try anything to deter the harvest that God has for you. As long as you put your full trust in God in the midst of your weakness he will be your strength.

Malachi 3:11
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," Says the LORD of host.

Jesus showed the ultimate selflessness in laying down his life to set us free. We must always seek to imitate his selfless love by serving others instead of simply serving ourselves. It could be as simple as letting that car in front of yours in a long line of traffic or opening the door for someone and saying God Bless You.

Don't allow situations in your life to make you feel defeated.
Let God turn your sickness into Healing
Like God turn your offense into his forgiving love
Let God turn your defeat to Victory

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3: 5-6

Let's Pray
O Lord, Forgive us for our parochialism and narrowness and selfishness. Give us a world vision of the world-wide harvest that you are seeking in our day. Give us eyes to see the magnitude of this harvest and to volunteer to be your hands extended. Give us zeal so that our passion is not for gourmet food and selfish luxuries, but that our food is to do your work. Help us to find our satisfaction in you!

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
